This is a delicious recipe that does not include transfat. I really like Tamales, so; A few years ago, I attempted to make Tamales, according to a Recipe I found in a CookBook. It was a disaster. The dough just was'nt right; and The Meat mixture seemed to be missing something. I was frustrated, after following the recipe step by step. It seemed every recipe I found was different . I then decided to use variations of recipes and through trials and errors; I did end up with my own recipe, that is very tasty, not at all difficult to make; (It is just about Foolproof) and also can bring you a nice profit, if you sell them.) (Which is what I do). I can't sell them to the whole world; so I don't mind sharing my recipe for a low price. My husband loves them. If you intend to sell your Tamales; TIP: Just give your potential customers a free sample and just let the Tamales sell themselves! This recipe is good!
